The Compassionate Path will strengthen the role that self-compassion plays in in your life. We bring this mission to life by making a variety of offerings available to individuals and organizations. Together we create a custom program that will best meet your specific needs.

Mindful Self-Compassion

In addition to offering courses for the general public, The Compassionate Path specializes in putting together 8-week MCS courses that meet the needs of your group. This means working with you to identify the location and schedule that may eliminate some of the most common barriers to full engagement in the MSC program. The Compassionate Path offers the empirically-supported 8-week MSC course co-developed by Kristin Neff, PhD and Chris Germer, PhD.

Individual Guidance

We highly recommend that those new to self-compassion practice begin with the 8-week MSC course, but we understand that may not be a fit for everyone. In order to meet that need, we offer individual sessions focused on building basic self-compassion skills. Individual sessions are also a fantastic way to get back into a self-compassion practice that may have lapsed… we are human after all… or to boost resilience in the face of an upcoming life transition.

Workshops & Retreats

The Compassionate Path offers workshops and retreat experiences tailored to meet your individual or collective needs. Popular topics include Self-Compassion for Parents, Self-Compassion as an Antidote to Fear, and The Whys and Why-nots of Self-Compassion. We will also be offering highly specialized retreats designed for people who have experienced significant transitions in their lives and are interested in marking that time as a way of moving forward.
